A shared shopping list for a party or a holiday keeps the event's shopping separate from the everyday one. In Paniere you create a list just for the occasion, a birthday, a dinner with friends, a week at the holiday house, and invite only the people organising it. Everyone sees what is still missing and who has already bought it, and when the event is over you delete the list.

How does Paniere organise the shopping for an event?
A list for the occasion
Create a list called "Luke's birthday" or "Holiday house". It has its own members and does not touch your other lists.
Only the people involved
Invite with a link only those organising. They see this list, not your everyday shopping.
Who already bought it
When someone ticks a product off, it disappears for everyone and goes into the history with their name. No double purchases.
Delete it when it is over
After the event, the owner deletes the list and it disappears for all members.
How do you organise the shopping for a party with friends?

Create the event list
Tap the list name at the top, then New list, and give it the name of the party.

Invite the organisers
From the list menu tap Invite someone and send the link to the people helping.

Write quantities, tick off at the shop
Add products with the quantity needed: "ice 5 kg", "bread 2". Whoever buys ticks it off and the others see it.

Do the guests have to download Paniere?

Only the people who help with the shopping. Guests who just come to the party do not need anything.
Can I use the same list every summer for the holiday house?

Yes. A list stays until you delete it: you can keep the holiday house list all year and use it every time you go.
Can we see how much we spent?

You can add the price to each product and all members see it. Paniere does not calculate shares, but the history shows who bought what.
Is there a limit on the number of lists?

You can create the lists you need, each with its own members and its own history.
